Guacamole is the most simple, and most delicious snack there is. Heck, if you don’t count the chips, it is probably one of the healthiest too!
I love simple guacamole with just a few ingredients.
My personal go to guac has avocado, garlic, tomato and taco seasoning. If you see me eating something spicy, you’ll also see me sweating so I prefer to keep the peppers out of mine, but my boo loves some jalapeno chunks in there. All this to say, IT’S REALLY HARD TO MESS UP GUACAMOLE.
Do you know of a restaurant that has the best guacamole? Your server will probably tell you what they put in it! (Psst. They may even tell you if you call.)
If you like more chunks in yours, I suggest just using a fork or potato masher to make it. Otherwise, a food processor will work great!
If you want a good amount, I suggest two or three large avocados, after that, the ratios and ingredients are up to you.
Some favorites of the Datebox team are:
jalapeno, red pepper flakes, onion, garlic, chili, halved cherry tomatoes, cilantro, lime juice.
